Improving Critical Area Program Implementation

This half-day workshop will provide current information, guidance, tools and resources for planners, engineers, consultants, and state and local government staff dealing with a variety of issues related to Critical Area Program implementation.

Topics will include new and proposed changes to the Critical Area regulations, the status of the Critical Area Mapping Update Project, recent progress on FIDS conservation and mitigation efforts, and innovative local government efforts to address Critical Area Program challenges.

Coordinating Critical Area Program implementation with other federal, State, and local environmental protection programs, plans, and policies will be addressed.
